Hollywood has lost another talent to drugs. Parks and Recreation executive producer, Harris Wittels, died at his home on Thursday due to an apparent drug overdose.

Police are saying his body was found at his home around 1 P.M. on Thursday with drug paraphernalia around the home. There were no signs of trauma to the body.

Wittels has a history with drugs use and abuse and has had two stints in a drug rehab facility.

The night before his death, Wittels did a standup comedy show where he claimed he was sober and in a good place.

Wittles has worked on many other hit shows including Eastbound and Down and The Sarah Silverman Program.

Wittles’ death triggered an outpouring of support and condolences from other comedians and friends.

Hollywood has lost many people to drugs in the past few years. From Heath Ledger, Chris Farley, Anna Nicole Smith and Philip Seymour Hoffman. It seems as another one has gone too soon.
