Justin Bieber Apologizes For “Arrogant” Behavior

Justin Bieber is back in the spotlight again but it’s for a reason you might not have guessed. Bieber posted a video on Facebook in which he apologizes to his fans for his negative behavior in the past. The video went live after he made an appearance on “The Ellen Show.”

In the video he explains, “Today, I was on Ellen and it was a lot of fun. She’s amazing, it was her birthday, but I was really nervous. I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about me right now. It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited, or basically how I’ve been acting the past year and a half.”

He also went on to explain how it has been hard growing up in the media and how it’s hard growing up in general. He said that his arrogant behavior is not a reflection of who he truly is.

“I’m not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was ‘pretending,’ is because often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover-up of what we are truly feeling inside. And there were a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.”

It’s pretty evident that the star has had a rough couple of years. Is this video the start of a new Justin Bieber? Or is this just a PR move? It looks like he is ready for a change; he even dyed his hair back to brown after being bleach blonde. It looks like we will all have to wait and see if there is a new and more mature Bieber in 2015.
