Details Of Lil Wayne’s Lawsuit Against Cash Money

Lil Wayne has 51 million reasons why he’s unhappy with Cash Money!

We relayed a report earlier this week indicating that Lil Wayne intends to sue Cash Money records and Birdman. Well, today a 21-page lawsuit surfaced, documenting in great detail exactly what the amounts are, and why.

Wayne believes he deserves $51 million in compensation, thanks largely to a supposed breach of contract regarding his work on “Tha Carter V,” as he states that the record label never paid him the $10 million he was supposed to receive. Not only wanting off the Cash Money contract, he apparently wants to be joint copyright owner of all the Young Money recordings.

If Cash Money decides to ante up and ultimately pay the $10 million Lil Wayne is owed, Weezy would be obligated to stick with the label until the contract expires, because that would not be a breach of contract, making his lawsuit void.

The beef is real, and it seems this is only the beginning to a very messy falling out.

We will keep you updated as this battle unfolds.
